Smart charging planning with ChargePilot®
Local optimization
ChargePilot® intelligently distributes available charging power to vehicles, making optimum use of the connected load without exceeding grid limits.
Information on the departure time and target charging status of each vehicle is essential for cost-optimized charging planning. The provision of this data in real time via a fleet management system opens up a specific time window for each vehicle, within which charging can be flexibly organized.
Dynamic response
Our FlexibilityAggregator technology is used to factor in dynamic electricity tariffs* when planning charging. FlexibilityAggregator is a platform that collects all relevant data: daily energy prices, local restrictions, driving schedules and charging curves.
Based on this aggregated data, FlexibilityAggregator develops individual charging plans that are transmitted to ChargePilot® for implementation. Vehicles are charged within the available time window when the price per kWh is cheapest. If there are last-minute on-site deviations from such plans, these are automatically recalculated and adjusted.
